If we were to inject bone marrow stem cells into an individual, that would allow the patient to reconstitute all the bc in his body. Which is clinically useful for cases such as blood cancer. Precise site will vary on stages of life. Under 1 mo of age = yolk sac. After one month, as the liver and spleen of the fetus develop they will take charge of hematopoiesis.
