What actually matters is our after-life: heaven/ hell. Everything else is of a lesser plane that we cannot be sure of. Kant: we are human agents that can be held responsible for our actions. It is we who choose how we ought to live vs laws of reason, logic. All three ideologies imply that humans in some sense, are all contingently related to the world: for heidegger, it makes no sense to talk about humans separate from the context we live in. Unlike kant, does not see the outside world as a "temptation. " Phenomenologically, the above theories have no basis at all.
