This would involve just about any form of insurgency. Violent transfers of political power that fundamentally transform society. Only includes the great revolutionary turning points of history. Comprehensive political and socio-economic change brought about through violent uprising. Not just incorporating fundamental change but comprehensive and substantial change. If they can, they can crush the uprising. Peasantry is preoccupied with their lives of misery. Lives are already risky, and they tend to be marginalized and isolated. Some of the largest revolutions (russia, china) have involved the poor en masse but there"s not a big correlation between poverty and revolution. Some do, such as isis spreading their influence through the middle east. Us and ussr took part in this in the cold war. Not a great answer because you can"t export a revolution without revolutionary conditions in the country you seek to export it to. Che guevara tried to spark revolution in bolivia after cuban success.
