There is no canada-wide standard or program for recycling e-waste but many provinces have enacted laws to address electronic waste management. In ontario, fees are collected from manufacturers and importers of electronic products to fund non-profit recycling collection programs. This is the most impactful action that has been taken in canada in terms of e- waste policies and legislations. Canada in terms of addressing the e- waste management challenges, yet there is considerable room for improvement.
