Mythos vs. logos ( truthful account : often contrasted with logos which means study, reasonable account, scholarly term, plato greek philosopher distinguished between myth (caters to emotions) vs. logos (reason, philosophy, ideas, mind) Distinction became one of superiority: reasoned inquiry into a topic (eg. mythology)
