Looking at a range of performances, how it relates to an audience, how it connects to the location of the event, etc. Slowly has been moving away from the strict theatre focus. Gradually included in more types of performances (concerts, movies, stand-up, shows, etc) Performance studies is mainly about doing rather than being (active type of learning) Importance in becoming aware of one"s positions in relation to others, such as a performer and the audience.
