Shows she tried to open in: there are two calling cards from rank. Torvald remarks it is as if he were announcing his own death: nora says: he is . Says krogstad will play him like a puppet. Romantic era: nora threatens to kill herself and then it will be over. Torvald says even that won"t make any difference to him because then people might think he was involved: torvald decides that they will need to act as if they were still happily married.
