Canada is the third highest, among a lot of the other western countries. But we actually use 2. 6 hectares per person. 20% of the worlds population consumes 75% of resources. Bio capacity; the amount of biologically productive area available to meet humanity s needs. Biocapacity exceeded by 25% and it is ever expanding. Broken down by carbon, fishing ground, cropland etc. Just looking at this were exceeding the worlds biocapacity. We fail to meet the goals of sustainable world development and our common future etc etc unrealistic goals (we cannot meet these targets)
