Many others prophylactically attempting to improve/protect mental health: assumption that our mental health is very fragile and we need to be mindful of it, massive growth in mental health industries professionals, life coaches, self-help books. If you think about it, massages are really weird in theory : mental health knowledge spread through schools, mass media, social media, police services, government services etc. It is interesting that we see suffering as outside the norm : negative emotions can have benefits, deviance has become something that needs immediate and drastic attention. For many, the emergence of freud is psychiatry"s greatest moment: broadens the scope of the field, for others, he caused a fatal blow to the discipline.
