Interpreting the actions of others as deliberately threatening or demeaning. Tendency towards untrusting, unforgiving, and prone to angry outbursts without justification because they perceive others as unfaithful, disloyal, or deceitful. May also be jealous, guarded, secretive, and scheming, and may appear to be emotionally. Cover a range of strange behaviours and social introversion (cluster b overly emotional) Constantly seeking attention, with great emphasis on personal appearance. Prone to excessive emotion and unstable moods, very sensitive to other"s approval. Intense, unstable relationships, alternate between idealization and devaluation, refusal to be alone. Intense, impulsive moods (passion, anger, depression) and behaviour (sex, gambling, driving, eating, etc). 75% female, comorbid w/ mood, anxiety, eating disorders. Others: antisocial pd, narcissistic pd (cluster c anxious) Pattern of dependent and submissive behavior, relying on others to make decisions for them. Require excessive reassurance, easily hurt by criticism or disapproval. Feel uncomfortable and helpless if they are alone, and can be devastated when a close relationship ends.
