Become untrusting, unforgiving, prone to angry outbursts w/out reason b/c perceive others as unfaithful, disloyal, or deceitful. May also be jealous, secretive, and scheming, emotionally cold or excessively serious. More common among men others: schizoid pd, schizotypal. Pd cluster b - impulse control/emotional regulation . Borderline pd: intense, unstable relationships, alternate between idealizations and devaluation. 75% female diagnosed, comorbid w/mood, anxiety, eating disorders. Others: antisocial pd (psychopath), narcissistic pd, histrionic pd (want"s attention) Context becomes very important: these things are inherently contextual, we have very little meaningful understanding of these disorders cluster c - anxious/fearful. Pattern of dependent and submissive behaviour, relying on others to make decisions for them. Require excessive reassurance, easily hurt by criticism or disapproval. Ppl pointed to culture as the main basis to the creation of pd, they structure the context of it. Personal responsibility (is it done to me or am i doing it?)
