The montreux clinic in victoria lomoar cpsd| 2151316. Peggy claude-pierre; claimed round the clock inpatient program had 90% success rate thru nothing but unconditional love . Gov"t began investigating, closed montreux in 2000; they found that peggy had no background training on eating disorders, minimal medical staff there. Ppl who turned up there were often on the verge of death, so having almost no medical staff on sight was problematic. Clinic prevented communication between outside world and people from within. She had no qualifications whatsoever, nor did cast majority of staff. Many died thru medical complications and suicide at montreux. Many of the caregivers were ppl w/anorexia themselves, had never recovered. Patients physically restrained, prevented from leaving the clinic. Claude-pierre had a 3 year old boy separated from his mother for 1 year due to her diagnosis of anorexia. This gives u the message that u shouldn"t believe in all the medical miracles out there epidemiology of eating disorders.
