Something is compressed under the acromion, space under it is very small therefore it is suscepible to changes in control, small impairments. Tendons have a slow degeneraive process, buriis is similar but diferent. Bursa is not an issue of breaking down, but it is a luid illed sack, when we irritate it in the short term it can ill up with more luid (inlame) Athlete presentaion: pain locaion, aggravaing rom, painful arc. Pain will be under the acromion, paricularly the lateral and anterior aspect: more towards long head of bicep, lateral is where supraspinatus might be. Bursa is more spread out, botom margin of acromion. Rom: elevaing the arm, flexion and abducion, seen because its more complicated shoulder moions, most coordinaion, move humerus and scapula, work together to opimize the subacromial space.
