Lindsay and colleagues (2008) defined personality as: the overall organization of psychological characteristics (thinking, feeling and behaving, that differentiates us from others, leads us to act consistently across time and situation. Traits: clusters of behavioral expressions (cognitive and emotional) that are related, relatively stable characteristic or quality that is a portion of one"s personality.
