We have an acivaion (emoion) and valence dimension (posiive/negaive: high acivated, negaive valence: anxiety, high acivated, posiive valence: excitement, low acivated, negaive valence: boredom, depression, low acivated, posiive valence: calmness. A negaive emoional state characterized by nervousness, worry and apprehension and increased physiological acivaion.
