Alienation is a feature in our everyday lives. It often shapes unconsciously (visions, life we want) Examples: we are in university that isn"t mindless and we get decent wages (unconsciously thinking about our future/alienation) Allows access to illegal needs of violence (military) Power through ideas, through the way in which we consent and way we rationalize.
