Infraorbital foramen transmits the infraorbital nerve and bv: forms anterior of hard palate, articulates with palatine bone. Infraorbital foramen (just underneath the orbital plate), lacrimal canal opens up onto infraorbital foramen (anterior surface) Two halves fuse in the midline to form the anterior nasal spine - pointed process. Articulates with nasal bone, lacrimal bone and frontal bone. On medial surface-ethmoid crest for attachment of middle conchae. Projects horizontally forms of hard palate, last forms by palatine bones. Incisive foramen (transmits the nasopalatine nerves and vessels) ** if seeing the posterior teeth palatine process of maxilla. Forms the posterior of hard palate.
