Digital society - technologies & behaviours & practices. In a digital society multimedia content is accessed, shared, utilized, and created by millions of individuals. Digital technologies are a key feature of contemporary daily life & profoundly shape how we live. Everyday life, work, politics, and culture have become mediated by information and communications technology. Use of these technologies effectively becomes a requirement of life. (necessary to fully participate as citizens). Ex; group chats for work, cellphones, dating apps, making friends through the internet, online schooling websites (avenue) We rely on these applications and technology to communicate and live. A united nations report declared that access to the internet is a human right. Our current moment: a time of mass participation in this new form of expression and communication. These questions and assessments of media culture are hard to see. The combination of diverse media, especially electronic media, into a coherent communicative or expressive object or experience.
