Jimi hendrix: 1942-1970 from seattle: helped shape a lot of rock guitar music and sound, success in britain, jimi hendrix experience the three got together and went to britain. There were only three of them but their music was powerful first of its kind. Power trio: ex: rush, cream (with aaron clapton on guitar: jimi said if dylan could sing he could sing, amazing voice for style of music, virtuoso guitarist, psychedelia meets the blues.
