No sig difference in performance b/w black and green groups, significant decrease in performance in the red group; therefore the color red causes you to do worse on cognitive tasks than other colors. Replicated with different tasks; ran 5 or 6 different experiments with different ways of measuring cognitive performance (math, memory), and ways of manipulating the iv- different control colors, different ways of presenting the colors.
