Separation of powers and responsible government: separation of power shows up in responsible government model, separation of power is going back to locke, If you separate different types of powers and at least curve theinry. Idea was those who make the law to those who administrate them would not allow them to run over our rights. Judiciary is rule of watching out for people. Parliamentary supremacy: number of reasons to say federal is not supreme. Federalism: federal parliament powers are contained to certain areas and same to provincial, cant make laws other than the area you were assigned, dominate legal argument made, parliament doesn"t have authority and jurisdiction, section 1 to 34. If you extend the law over your country it"s just completely rude. Idea if state of province can extend their authority beyond the province: no limit for national government. It can step over sovereignty they stop to be nice.
