Document Summary
She can do this presentation bc she can talk to a lot of ppl but not individuals. 2 and a half million diagnosed with mood disorders, and these are just the ppl who got diagnosed. Hers is due to psychological reasons as opposed to genetic. Parents didn"t have the best jobs/hard for them she had a very modest upbringing, she didn"t have cool stuff, and so she got harassed until 15. Raised very foreign, so diff humor and cultural expectations than the other kids. Kids mocked at what she said, liked, did, worse, ate, looked (fat apparently) so she developed false perception of herself. Panic disorder- associated with specific situation and still persists. Depresson-from failed relationships/self conscious about body image so stopped eating for a time-was very thin, and exercised 5-6 times a week for 2 hours at a time (borderline eating disorder?) Then she took abnormal psych, and saw a lot of what dr. day related to her.
