Post hypnotic suggestion: sometimes we do things for reasons we don"t understand and the reason we believe the cause of our behaviour is not always understood. Conscious mind doesn"t know the reasons for our own behaviour. First person to notice childhood sexual abuse. Seduction theory, however most of these memories were not true but stories from the unconscious that the patient wish had happened, disguised to make them more acceptable. Motivation: why do we do the things we do, what do we want out of life.
