Behavior = interaction between biology and experience says much about development sparked childhood research. Easy to change personality: changing learned habits influenced by watson and skinner. Personality = manifestation of self, inner unity. Need of every individual to stress positive motivation and reaching of full potential. Idiographic approach to personality: wanting to understand individuals on a subjective basis; how people are unique (nomathetic, rule governed: defines most sciences; study individuals to generalize) Personality style of information selection and processing. Habitual related to behaviourists (personality is learned behavior) cognitivists: learned patterns of thought, belief, ways of selecting and interpreting information.
