Changes in the person"s own attitudes and behaviours (women"s) Sd, sexual desire fluctuations over time (more so than men: larger response to specific sociocultural factors by women than by men. 60s/70s- time of swingers, partner swapping parties: lower attitude-behaviour consistency (predictability) for women than for men. Less able to predict attitudes and behaviours of women. More likely to have a mismatch between her attitude and behaviour (ie. not keen on sex, but since her partner suggested it she considered doing it = mismatch) Degree indicates if completely straight, or completely gay. Gay women more likely than gay men to shift sexual orientation, gender of sex partners: e. g. , past heterosexual experiences, e. g. , future heterosexual experiences, women shift around more. Straight women more likely than straight men to have (and enjoy) homosexual sex: e. g. , undergraduate women, prison sex, research on swingers. % gay men & women who have had straight sex.
