The goals of the agency and the family might not match up. Your right to life is more ipmortant that right to con dentiality. We let ppl make their own decisions, as long as they are competent. Well-being over crazy laws or rules of an organization. Not just what we think, what the client thinks. When we don"t do the job we"re supposed to do. How we see things affects how we act. If we don"t know why we are doing this job, we can get caught up in doing it for our own grati cation. We don"t solve people"s problems so if that"s our whole goal we"ll get burnt out. If someone isn"t grateful we will start to see them as part of the problem. We constantly do it it"s what we do with those judgments that is important.
