Tomb of the hateri: tomb that is for a private family their tomb. Important thing about this family in terms of flavian architecture and design is that they seem to have been involved in construction industry. Tomb depicts a series of reliefs of buildings built during the flavian period: coliseum, temple built at the same period. Cult statue of god at raised platform in center: one of the machines that helped to build architecture of this time also depicted. Great cranes used to lift the blocks into place. Run by people several working the mechanism of the crane. Similar to elevators being worked by human power at the coliseum. Image also shows a tomb associated with a particular female member of the family. Tomb possibly doesn"t exist a grand multi- story structure: could be imagination of the artist. Lavishly decorated garlands, winged figures holding them (cupids), statuary and busts at various places, etc.
