Bc the support of stakeholders is now generally regarded as essential for a corporation to reach its strategic objectives measures to gain and keep this support are now expected to be integrated into governance procedures policies strategies and actions. Directors are expected by investors and regulators to oversee these aspects within their governance responsibilities and to ensure that executives managers do likewise. Not regarding giving concern to employee rights can lead to risk of lawsuits low morale and productivity loss of excellent employees and prospects and damage to the reputation of the corporation its directors and executives. As a result there is an emerging emphasis on the development of a culture of integrity that will provide guidance and encouragement for executives managers and employees on a broad range of ethical behaviour including the treatment of employees.
