Screening criteria cover environmental & planning policy, technical constructability and cost: all desktop, no field investigations, do nothing, discharge all wastewater to lake ontario via the york durham sewage. Both the lake ontario discharge & lake simcoe water reclamation centre alternatives are viable . But the lake simcoe water reclamation centre alternative offers additional benefits .
