The people producing the news know that their audience has different time and space limitations, which shapes the way they tell the story. The wealthy educated class that can afford a subscription, versus other people. Penny press commercial was the beginning of the commercialization of the news. Journalists, stories, sending them across the nation. Birth of nation news, and national news. Downside to this, if you get everything off the wire, its like you open a can of content. News doesn"t reflect the government, it is supposed to be on the side of the public. Educate the public and keep us informed about what matters. Make a big difference and function as a public advocate rather than entertainment. The journalist comes up and racks up all the mud, and find out all of the dirt and bad things. Ideas flow: from social leaders to the wider public via the news media.
