The jewish problem: modern problem- why it was considered to be a problem. Biblical: to understand the relationship between christianity and judaism you need to go back to biblical times, abraham had a son, isaac, isaac had two sons- jacob and ismael. Jews were doing well, people got jealous: fogner- anti-semite and composer, had foreign souls, look and speak german but not, called the(cid:373) (cid:862)plasti(cid:272) de(cid:373)o(cid:374)s(cid:863) Our master race- about eugenics in canada: tommy douglas- ccf of ndp, politician, universal healthcare, wrote thesis blaming depression on bad breeding, went to nazi germany at one point to see how they were implemented eugenic policies. Idea of feeble mindedness continued into 1960s: germans went from sterilization to mass murder- further than anyone else at gone, genocide in the name of eugenics.
