Now: sexuality is firmly entrenched in academia: sexology: krafft-ebing, ellis, freud the 19th century. Study of sexuality really starts here in the 19th century, is crucial. Doctors were the first to study sexuality, particularly one branch of doctors: sexologists. Early works in sexology were aimed at physicians, judges, lawyers, other doctors etc.
