Whitehall study they expected as you moved up the chain health would improve. Since the first study they have gone from only including men and only studying heart disease they have included women as well. Hypothesis: as people go up in the chain of jobs, and higher archie you have more control of your job and yout time and that allows you to have better health. The man at the bottom of the ladder smoked as did the man at the top however the man at the top had less chance of heart disease then the man at the bottom.
