Although the function is still the same, it"s now an artifact. Artifact: anything that has been made by humans o o. Objects and artifacts may overlap in their functions and properties. Humans realized they could modify objects to better the action they were performing o. They first found comfortable rocks that were easier to maneuver: arrowheads: at the beginning, they looked for sharp rocks. But at a certain point, they realized they could make it sharper. With the artifact, it would be more efficient and give better results, although the function performed is the same. Things that have a utilitarian aspect are gaining an aesthetic one o.
