Document Summary

You can capture people"s personalities with good adjectives a lot of the time: i. e. kind, thoughtful, generous, intense, challenging of ideas. How someone is most of the time. Can be used as a predictor for how someone will behave in different situations: i. e. extroverted vs. introverted. Make us act in ways contradictory to our usual traits. Personality tests: measure in all different ways. I. e. given nice & have to rate it 1-10. I. e. i prefer to stay home alone & rate from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The inkblot test: look at vague inkblots & tell the tester what they see, difficult to interpret, choose a test that works to your goal. He gave everybody that who had done the test the same profile that was supposedly derived from their specific test: you have a great deal of need from other people to like & admire you . Fascinated with personality but wasn"t sure where to start language.
