Physical dependence: the need for your tissues or cells to have these drugs, these cells get used to a certain amount of stimulation and your receptors are prepared for it. Then as you stop using the drugs your body goes through withdrawals because your receptors are not getting what they need: weed and cocaine don(cid:495)t usually give this level of dependence. Drug identification: first test done is the screening test, this is to reduce the number of possibilities, confirmation test is the second, this is to identify the substance. Preliminary analysis: usually done by subjecting the substance to colour tests.
