Sexual abuse extends to using a child for sexual gratification of the offender, exposing the child to sexual contact, activity, or behaviour. Forms of sexual abuse include oral, anal, genital contact or anal/vaginal penetration, fondling or sexual stimulation. It also applies to exploitation, exposure to pornography. Sexual abuse is usually contextualized in intrafamilial or extrafamilial frameworks, in other words committed either by a perpetrator within or outside of the victim"s familial network. Irrespective of familial connection, the majority of abusers in child se abuse cases are male. The cis 2008 reports that sexual abuse accounted for 2607 of substantiated cases. Among cases, parental figures were very rarely the abusers however, when it was a parental figure, it was most likely to be a step father. Amongst non-parental figures, perpetrators were most often the child"s friend, other acquaintances, parent"s boyfriend or girlfriend. Fondling was the most prevalent, followed by oral sex, then sexual talk, exploitation and penetration.
