Sex as a service: holding hands, kissing, touching, intercourse. Different sexual practices: nothing immoral, its a matter of taste. Intensity: intensity of the experience makes it appealing. Willing to pay a higher cost to experience sex compared to sandwich. Food, alcohol and sex have all been shown to release dopamine in the same region of the brain. A higher utility from a sandwich depends on timing (starving person will choose food) Law of demand: as price of sex rises, quantity demanded falls. Rational individual consumes up to the marginal benefit=marginal cost of other goods. Both men and women demand more units of sex as price drops.
