Wool was the bre of choice for bathing suit, because it gives off heat when it is wet, therefore is more comfortable then something like cotton. Nylon is used primarily for carpeting, ropes, trims, and in ne, ne laments to make tights. A chemical cocktail that is melted - becoming liquid. Is then forced through a spinneret to create tow. Delustering, solution dyeing, cross dyeing, ame resistance, antibacterial, anti static, uv absorber (slr), whiteners/brighteners, cut resistant. Manufactured bres are naturally bright and shiny - sometimes associated with cheap fabric. Delustering agents are simply white pigments - titanium dioxide - that create a matte colour.
