Tourists: temporary visitors staying at least 24 hours and whose purpose was leisure, business, family, mission or meeting - wto. Excursionists: temporary visitors staying less than 24 hours including cruise passengers but excluding travellers in transit - wto. Wto de nition of tourism: comprises the activities of person(s) travelling to and staying in places outside of their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business, or other purposes . Applies to cultural tourism, it is an experience that seems more real and genuine.
