Run by wilhelm canaris very respected. Some members like canaris join the nazis. they do no respect hitler at all. Many people considered nazi against german culture. Hated their counter part: and rivalry was encouraged by hitler (german military intell. ) Efficient in addition to abwehr and became very proficient: based in mi. Fremde heere ost (fho: foreign armies east )- specialized in eastern europe. Everything they do and come up with funneled through political and ideological system: death = telling the truth, distorted analysis = incentive in the system. Fho ( foreign armies east)- first meteorologist group. They anticipated warmer, dryer weather for the germans. It was -40,( car batteries frees, oil freezes, german tanks freeze) They did not take into account accurate population counts. St. petersburg (??? i have leningrad - not st. petersburg :s:s) They hated the rest of the western world. Ate bread, sawdust + urine and wall paper glue.
