The impact of internet affect the 4 p"s of marketing: Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders. Selling and advertising are only two facets of marketing. The role of marketing is to match the right product or service with the right market or audience. Marketing concept/ consumer orientation: finds out what the consumer wants then produces a product that will satisfy those wants at a profit. This concept requires management thinking be directed towards profit rather than sales volume. Step 1: employ the marketing concept and do research to understand the consumer needs, desires, and wants. Step 2: then formulate strategic marketing plans that match the resort and its market.
