Hotel example: in a hotel they can make money by renting their meeting place, from f&b from renting the meeting place and from selling rooms much of the pro ts come from rooms. They will turn away event business even if the space is available hoping that they will get another business that will ll the meeting place with bedrooms. Ensure your supplier cannot bump you for a more pro table event. Ie: another event with bedrooms approaches the hotel. Bump refers to getting out of business with you because there"s a more pro table event. Make sure your contract states that if your supplier pulls out, your client is getting something out of it.
