They work with compensation, training, employment, organizational behaviour, recruitment and selection,and ir = union / management relations. One part of hrm is by working with and understanding unions which is what. Ir discipline is a separate thing as well. Seen as a study of all aspects of work/employment from multiple precipitates, and without principles the status of any particular actor in the irs. Actors are seen as employer, employee, management, unions, government, public, etc. Therefore showing that unions are not the only part involved in ir. These actors are all people who are affected and involved in any aspect of the industry. In ir discipline there are different parts involved. Why do we need an industrial relations system? (irs) A system to follow of rules and laws, and seen as an institution.
