Step 6: communicate and update informaion as needed. The formal relaionships among jobs in an organizaion. Clariies chain of command; who reports to whom. Does not explain communicaion paterns, degree of supervision, power, authority, or speciic duies. Necessary when there are a number of similar jobs. The process of systemaically organizing work into tasks that are required to perform a speciic job.
