Team vs group: teams, have a common goal, structure, doing something that is meaningful, dependent on trust, being open and transparent. Leadership is what you do its not who you are: organizations need to develop more of a leadership culture. Self-disclosure: self disclosure is the process of letting others know what you think, feel, and want. It is revealing to another how you are reacting to the situation and sharing experiences that are relevant to the situation. Masks: are the characteristics which we make up or exaggerate or use inappropriately to hide our true feelings or thoughts in order to attract and influence others, and protect against rejection or criticism. The sensitive line: the point at which individuals become defensive or protective when encountering information about themselves that is inconsistent with their self-concept ow when encountering pressure to alter their behaviour.
