All goods/services organizations need a well-thought-out distribution strategy to convince retailers to carry their products. Distribution channels, supply chain, and logistics are related. A distribution channel is a set of institutions that transfer the ownership of and moves goods from the point of production to the point of consumption. A simplifies supply chain would be one in which manufacturers make products and sell them to intermediaries such as retailers or wholesalers.
