Fine blue vascular network visible in pregnancy. Linear striae is common following pregnancy or sudden growth. Symmetrically placed on the same plane on the two breast. Usually protrude some are flat or inverted. Note dry scaling, fissures, ulceration and bleeding or discharge. All flow upwards into infraclavicular and supraclavicular nodes and a small amount into chest, abdomen or directly to opposite breast. Use thumb and forefinger, gently depress the nipple tissue into the well behind the areola.
