Political ideologies are belief systems which aims to give meaning to life. Socialism and conservatism: analyze the problem to explain it and clarify why it exists ex. Better jobs with better wages is the/a solution or raising taxes is another elimination of capitalism: proposes solutions; how problem can be reduced or eliminated ex. Conservative: does not see poverty as a bad thing, why is there a crime without solutions = hiring more police. The article in the textbook talks about political spectrum; way of comparing ideologies. Can be fair, we can improve things (mild form of socialism) Negative view of humans; we are all sinners. Right fascism; nazis control over people"s li(cid:448)es: government never owned these businesses-they remained in own hands but were told how to run their business.
