I am going to show you an array of 12 leters. Try to remember as many of them as you can. Write down the leters you think you remember. Write down the leters in the middle row. Results from irst trial indicated sensory memory can hold 3-4 items. Results from second trial also showed 3-4 items can be held in sensory memory.
